Nancy is doing great. She is helping me at the church. I thank God everyday for here. Without her helping me, I would have already gotten fired. Morgan is in Karate. He was just promoted to gold belt. He is more brilliant each day. Wyatt has begun talking. He says "shoes," "bean" (for jelly bean - he has a real addiction), "keys", and "Mor-man" (Morgan).
Here are things that I have learned in four months. First, no matter what you do, you will not make everyone happy. Second, ten minutes before service is not a good time to start preparing a sermon. Third, most churches think that every other church does things exactly like they do it - and can't figure out why you didn't know that. Fourth, I think that if you break your foot, your transition into a new pulpit will go a lot smoother than you think - they pity you so they don't give you as hard a time.
