From Codajas, Billy, Antonio (and his wife), Edimar, Julio, Eric, and I jumped in a small boat and went up a tributary about one hour in the pouring rain. We met with the first pastor to work with my dad in Sacambu. His name is Moses and is 74 years old. He wept when he saw me. Yes, that is his home. It is a shack floating on the Amazon River. He is the pastor of the first church my father started in Brazil. We ate breakfast, and I played the guitar and sang worship songs. It was one of the most precious hours of my life.
